Jack Fagan will be the only absentee from the Worthing squad for the Ryman League clash with Three Bridges at the Photronix Stadium tonight.

The young goalkeeper, who has been second choice behind Rikki Banks since the start of the season, is away on holiday.

Besides Fagan, joint-manager Gary Elphick revealed that striker Tony Nwachukwu (long-term stomach injury) will be the only player missing from the squad.

Midfielder Ryan Quirke is set to return to the squad having not featured since the opening day of the season due to illness.

Ben Pope, who picked up a knock to his knee against Burgess Hill Town in the Robert Dyas League Cup last Tuesday, could also come back into the side.

The Rebels will be looking to build on their 4-2 win at East Grinstead Town on Saturday as Sussex rivals Three Bridges visit the Photronix Stadium.

The Crawley-based club could include a number of familiar faces to Worthing supporters, including John Lansdale, Matt Daniel, Matt Whitehead, Jamie Crellin and Mark Pulling.

Pulling, famous for scoring a hat-trick of corners in one match during his time at Woodside Road, scored on Saturday as the Bridges eased past struggling Whitstable Town.

Last season Worthing came out on top in their two encounters with Three Bridges, sharing the spoils in a 2-2 draw at home before thrashing their opponents 6-2 at Jubilee Field.

The club has announced that there will be a minute’s silence ahead of the match in memory of the victims of the tragic Shoreham Airshow plane crash on Saturday.

Two Worthing United players Matt Grimstone and Jacob Schilt were travelling to their game against Loxwood when a Hawker Hunter jet crashed on the A27, taking their lives.

It has also been confirmed that all Capital One Cup matches this week will also observe a minute’s silence out of respect to the Shoreham Airshow victims.

Worthing joint-boss Gary Elphick paid tribute to the two players on Sunday, telling The Telegraph: “It’s just devastating news.

“We’re a football family on the south coast so we’re all trying to pull together. These were two great young lads who have been taken from us far too soon.”

Kick-off for tonight’s game is at 7:45pm with admission costing £8.00 for adults, £6.00 for concessions and £3.00 for 12-16 year olds with under-12s free.
