Wotton travelled to Ashley down old boys this weekend after a number of teams had cancelled on us .This being a recurring event at the moment as most teams seem to cancel last minute. Still smarting from a points deduction from the league for having a team every week and fulfilling all fixtures Wotton are glad just to have a game.
This game set off at a good pace with the Wotton team running in a number of scores through some good running lines and fast hands rob Marlow playing at scrum half was having a magnificent game and was all over the park being involved in a handful of moves and scoring a brace .The forwards linking up well with the backs Wotton continued to pressure Ashley down oldboys.

Ashley down changed most of there team at half time which changed the game a little with it being more physical in nature Wotton stepped up to the challenge but conceded 12 points in this period .
Wotton's fitness started to show and with the forwards gaining ever more ground Ashley down started to loss the plot having a man sin binned for foul play followed by a red card some minutes later . After this Wotton ran in 3 more try's the pick being from Alex irons who ran nearly the length of the pitch' special mention must go to Dom D'Souza who had another great game in the scrum and the loose . last shout goes to skipper Josephine Horton who scored another hatrick if only he was as good at buying the jugs as he was scoring.
