Following a strong showing in the winter league which saw Wreka Blues U9's promoted to the 6th Division for the Spring Cup, the Blues made a strong start to the new competition with a 2-2 draw vs Swallwell Kites.

The Blues controlled the game for long periods with Harry N at his usual creative best while Rhys P & Bobby Mac calm & assured in defense.

Although Callan made a fantastic fingertip save towards the end of the game, it's fair to say the Blues could have had a comfortable victory but for their outstanding 'keeper & the post TWICE!
