The Yateley United FC Executive Committee would like to invite you to an exhibition showing the development plans we are putting together, with our consultants Continuum Leisure, for our ground at Sean Devereux Park, Chandlers Lane, Yateley prior to their submission to Hart planning department in the coming months.

In 2013 using funds raised by the club from the organisation of the community music festival Gig on the Green, Yateley we were fortunate to be able to purchase a great deal of land at Sean Devereux Park and in turn create a vision for it to be developed as an amenity for sport and available to our community for generations to come with a strong emphasis on youth.

Following continual, and planned future, fund raising we are now in a position to commence turning this vision into a reality. As you will observe at the exhibition there are several parts to our planning including a clubhouse, the re-layout and extension of the main car park area to include hard tennis, netball and basketball courts, a flood lit main pitch and increased drainage to current winter marsh like land for additional youth football pitches.

With so much land in our community and beyond being purchased, or under threat of purchase, by developers for future housing we feel it essential to develop and preserve the playing fields at Sean Devereux Park for our community, their children and their children’s, children.

At this exhibition members of the Yateley United FC Executive Committee, together with the consultants and architect we have commissioned, will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Yateley United FC is run entirely by volunteers and supported by sponsors. At the exhibition there will also be information on how you can join the many volunteers who have worked, and continue to work, to bring this vision to reality or become one of our valued sponsors.
