Yaxley Girls Fc is currently one of the largest providers of girl’s football in Peterborough accommodating girls aged between 5 and 15.
We have been selected by Huntingdonshire FA to help deliver their Wildcats initiative and aim to grow the numbers of participants in the game. We are continually looking to develop our players as far as we can.
We have strong links with Peterborough United ladies and many of our players also play for the Peterborough United U12, U14 and U16 teams. We also have many players in the Northamptonshire Advanced Coaching centre which is the next step after grassroots in the FA talent Pathway.
Yaxley girls Fc have had a very successful year across the ages and we are always looking to strengthen, develop and give opportunities to girls that want to play football in a fun and friendly environment, which can create opportunities to play with a team meet new friends and learn new skills.
Our coaches are all volunteers and are qualified to a level one as a minimum with some of our coaches at levels two and three as well as Goalkeeper coaches. We support our players though their careers, and now some are getting involved in coaching and we are supporting them through their football coaching careers
We are looking towards the next season and are looking for new players across all of our teams. If you are interested please come along to our open day or pop down to a training session. Monday 6pm to 7pm for girls aged 5 to 13 and 7pm to 8pm for girls aged 14 to 15.
