Yelverton Reserves have been accepted into the Anglian Combination next season after securing second spot in the top division of the Norwich Business Houses League. A dramatic last minute equaliser from Lewis Clarry in the midweek draw with UEA A and a 5-2 final day victory over Norman Wanderers ensured they achieved the required minimum of 4 points from the last 2 games of the season to secure a top 2 finish and any chance of acceptance into the Anglian Comb set up.
The news topped off an excellent season for the reserves who will now be looking forward to life in Division 5 South and will see the club have two sides competing in the Anglian Comb for the first time in its history.
