Terms and Conditions

Beckenham Junior Cricket Parental Consent Form, 2020

By ticking the Consent box during Registration, you accept and agree to the following:

Player and Parent Responsibilities

Ensure that your child arrives for training and matches with the appropriate protective equipment, abdominal protector, helmet, pads and gloves, clothing and refreshments, including plenty of water. Players must play in the spirit of cricket: respectful of their team mates, opposition and match officials whose word is final on matters of match management.
Parents/Guardians agree to be responsible for the good behaviour of their child and for any non-observance by him/her of the rules of Beckenham Cricket Club until he/she reaches the age of 18.

Safety

All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure the safety of Junior members attending the activities organised by the Club. However, sport is not risk-free and Junior members and their parents/guardians must be aware that accidents may happen and that they must therefore take appropriate steps to ensure their own safety.
In the event of any injury or illness during practice or matches, all reasonable steps will be taken to contact parents/guardians. Should the necessity arise, parents/guardians agree to the person in charge of the activity giving consent on their behalf for urgent medical treatment to be given, including the administering of an anaesthetic on the advice of a medical practitioner.

Loss and Damage

Understand that the Club, and the Club members who may be involved in organising or supervising matches, coaching or other sessions, accept no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury caused by or during any such activities, except where the loss, damage or injury results directly from the negligence of the Club or such Club members.
