Welcome to the Ilkley Town AFC First Team section of our website.

The First Team is managed by Simon Armstrong who holds his UEFA B Coaching Licence and has previous managerial experience with Silsden AFC & Leeds Carnegie FC. Working alongside is Head Coach Dave Houlston who holds his UEFA A Licence and brings 15 years of coaching and managing experience at this level and Assistant Manager Greg Beswick who also holds his UEFA B Coaching Licence and has worked recently in the semi professional game with Thackley & Glasshoughton Welfare.

The First Team, for the first time in their history, will play in the West Yorkshire Premier League with an ambition to develop the club at all levels. Last season the team enjoyed promotion and played in their fourth consecutive Wharfedale & District Cup Final, winning the competition for the third time in their history!!

PRE SEASON TRAINING
Training will take place on a Monday and Wednesday at Ben Rhydding, 7.00-9.00pm.
Pre Season Training starts on Monday 4th July, 2016.

IN SEASON TRAINING
When the season starts on 13th August, 2016 training will return to ONLY a Wednesday at Ben Rhydding, 7.00-9.00pm.

WINTER TRAINING
From the start of October training then moves to the state-of-the-art 3G pitch, at St. Marys High School, Menston (LS29 6AE)and takes place 8.00-10.00pm.
