The current under 15 squad recently completed a fine season under the coaching of Chris Pickles, Mike Greenwood and Damien Hall. They reached the final of the Blacksticks/Blue Lancashire Vase which was held at Wigan RUFC but narrowly lost an exciting game 21 - 14 to Littleborough.

As they progress up to be the club's under 16s next season we expect the squad to remain stable as they start to build towards senior rugby in 2 years time. They will train every Wednesday from 6 pm - 7.30 pm and we expect to see a more serious and committed approach from the boys in terms of their improvement both as individuals and as a team.

They are a solid and harmonious group of lads who often play scintillating rugby. New additions to the squad have all nicely fitted into the set up which is a positive sign that the atmosphere in the team is friendly and welcoming. We have high expectations that the vast majority will pull on a senior shirt over the next 2 or 3 years.

Coaching help for the next season is much needed in the continued absence of one or two of the main coaches. Help with the backs is especially welcome. Please contact Chris Pickles if you are willing and able to help.
