Adderbury Park FC awarded funding to replace the stolen adult goal posts!
Players and Adderbury residents are set to benefit from fresh investment into local grassroots sports facilities thanks to a grant from the Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation towards the replacement of our goal posts.
This investment will enable Adderbury Park to continue to provide adult football and build on a highly successful period for the club. Enabling the club to be able to continue to offer adult teams to the pathway for our ever growing youth set-up.
These improved and modern goals will make matchdays a lot easier and reduce risk to player welfare, with no longer having to manually build the goals each game.
Robert Sullivan, Chief Executive of the Football Foundation, said:
“The Football Foundation is working closely with our partners – the Premier League, The FA and Government – to transform the quality of grassroots facilities in England by delivering projects like this across the country.
“Good quality playing facilities have a transformative impact on physical and mental health and play an important role in bringing people together and strengthening local communities.
“This grant award to Adderbury Park FC towards providing replacement goals is fantastic news for the local community and will help give more people access to a great place to play.”
