Bury Town Football Club provides football for ALL in our local community. We hope to help every young footballer achieve their potential; Bury Town Football Club offers the chance for players currently in the U14, U15 and U16 age group to challenge themselves at a higher standard in the Eastern Junior Alliance League. This is an ideal opportunity for any player who wants to challenge themselves and ideally has experience at county level or academy level.

Player Development Pathway
Bury Town's Development set up (EJA) work very closely with the West Suffolk College Sports Academy, the Academy has been a huge part of Bury Town's recent success with a lot of Scholars making it into the first team. The likes of Captain Tom Bullard & Connor Hall made it through the Academy and into the first team. Young players will get the chance to work with West Suffolk Sports Academy coaches while they learn more about the courses the college offers.

Eastern Junior Alliance
The Eastern Junior Alliance League is split into geographical divisions which may change every year due to the number of teams. Bury Town have played against teams such as: Woodbridge Town, Cambridge City, Haverhill Rovers, Potters Bar Town and others.

Why Bury Town?
Bury Town prides itself on its professionalism and experience of producing good footballers who have gone onto play at a good level of football. Bury Town has seen plenty of its youngsters go through to representing the first team, as well seeing some go onto the professional game. The likes of Ian Miller, Liam Trotter, Simon Milton (All signed for Ipswich Town), Ben Coker (Colchester), Nick Pope (Charlton) and some others have gone onto play in the professional game after being a part of Bury Town Football Club's Development Set-up. Current Club Captain Tom Bullard (pictured) who is celebrating is Testimonial year also came through Bury Town's Youth programme. The club has an array of highly qualified coaches who have experience of developing young footballers and also experience of playing a good level of football.

Trials
Trial dates are announced every year (find on the next page) so feel free to contact us and attend any ones you are available for. Players can trial during the season and parents simply must contact the coach who looks after the age groups and arrange a time they can attend a training session.

What we are looking for
We are looking for young footballers with good technical and physical ability, ideally those who have had some experience of playing at county or academy level (not essential). A young players work ethic and attitude is as essential as their technical and physical ability.
