A nice buzz about in the cobham air. Shock to the captain and coach a few players were at the fortress well before the meet time.

Toss was won and the skipper chose to bowl first.

Opening the bowling was O. Pervaiz down the hill looking sharp with he’s biggest critic on the side line(dad). L. Marshall opening up the hill and like usual keeping it tight. Big batsmen throwing everything through he’s shot.
Not alot happing so a Bowling change down the hill.
S. Hameed started well and the got the deserved wickets. Then L. Marshall started chipping in from the other end. Bowling swaps with little spells in between with applause to all the bowlers except the skipper.
Fortunately J. Moore didn’t bowl this week.

Teas as usual at home were on point. 8/10 melon could have been cut smaller.

Batting well it was a quick one. 96 all out not a lot to talk about. But we learnt a lot as a team and move forward to next week.
