Faddiley banished any cup defeat hangover with an emphatic win over Nantwich Pirates as they ended the season with a 6-3 win and to take their league run to 14 games without a defeat.
The first half was frantic with Faddiley taking the lead with Jamie Baker only for Pirates to respond a few minutes later with a nice goal. Faddiley then doubled their lead after Oscar Beale was brought down in the box and Jamie Baker stepped up to net his second. Two minutes later Pirates made it 2-2 again with another good goal but it was Faddiley ending the half strongly as they hit the post.
Faddiley took the lead in the 63rd minute as Jamie Baker was fouled just outside the box and Luke Walley stepped up and fired into the corner to make it 3-2. A minute later Faddiley made it 4-2 as Jamie Baker netted his hat-trick then a few minutes later Jamie Baker netted his 4th from a low cross off Oscar Beale.
With 10 minutes to go Pirates pulled a goal back with a long range shot but with 4 mins to go Oscar Beale crowned off a man of the match performance with a sublime finish to net Faddiley's sixth goal.
