Faddiley FC were established in 1968 where they initially played just friendly matches.
Then in 1970 they joined the Young Farmers League for one season before joined Crewe Regional Sunday Football League back in 1971/72 where to the present day they still play.
Today the club has moved on with the support of the Brindley & Faddiley Parish Council, who helped the club purchase new goals back in 2014 to comply with the FA. The clubs main sponsors is the Wilbram Arms (Welsh Row, Nantwich).
The club over the years has had former league & non-league experienced players turn out for the club with varied success over the years.
Also the club hosted a Faddiley v All Stars XI back in December 1974 when such greats as Gordan Banks, George Eastham, Roger Hunt, Jackie Murdie, Alec Elder, Tony Allen, Peter Dobing, Roy Sproson, A A’Court, John McCue, Roy Chapman graced the pitch which attracted a crowd of over 350+ at the Goodwill Hall.
In recent season Faddiley won the Division One Cup in 2015/16 season beating Nantwich Young Farmers 4-1. The club missed out in 2017/18 on winning the cup for a second time when they lost 3-1 to the White Eagles. The club bounced back from cup defeat to go on a 14 game winning run in the league to secure the league title and promotion to the Premiership.
2018/19 Season Faddiley finished a respectable 4th in the league just narrowly missing out on the runners-up spot. The club did however win the Premier Cup for the first time in the clubs history, defeating Crewe Athletic on penalties after the two clubs drew 0-0 after 120 minutes.
