Coaching
We're proud to have some of the top coaches in the country in the HWHC family.

Men's 1s player coach Kwan Browne is Assistant Coach for the Great Britain Men's team and played internationally for Trinidad & Tobago until 2019.

Ladies 1s coaches Sarah Kelleher and Kate Richardson-Walsh lead the team into the National Premier Division in 2019 and secured 3rd place in the league in their first season at the top.

Sarah played internationally for Ireland for 10 years and is Lead Coach for England U18 Girls.
Olympic gold medallist Kate captained England and Great Britain for 13 years.

HWHC's 1st and 2nd team players, many internationals among them, filter their knowledge and experience through the club as coaches for senior teams.

Senior players from all teams, from 1s to 7s and Supervets, coach junior teams.

Umpiring
HWHC runs the England Hockey Level 1 Umpire course at the club. All players and parents are welcome to attend the course to become an unassessed Level 1 umpire.

Assessors within the Club can support those at the start of their umpiring path to become qualified umpires.
