⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪⚫⚪ Premier 1 League Result: SCORE: Glasnevin FC 0-2 Kingswood Castle FC GOALS: Paul Bracken '44 '79 ⚽⚽ @paulbracken1997 REPORT: Finally yes finally the performance our lads have been putting in all season paid off with a brilliant display as we took on a side that looked to control the ball but our game plan matched them brilliantly as the waiting game panned out. Our back line with James Kearns marshalling his defence stood tall looking to pump the ball into Alex Murray who was constantly on the turn looking to play striker Matthew Raymond in. It was Murray who stung their Goalkeepers hands with a fierce shot while our own Keeper Darren Kelly got his legs to their only real effort in the first half. Just before the break in an even enough encounter we won a penalty to which our Skipper coooooly put away to put us a goal up. Second half we anticipated that the home side would up the tempo so we changed system to sit in & absorb the pressure while getting alot of joy countering them down our wings, this was hard work but too a man our Players put in an unbelievable shift in.. no more than Man of the Match Jay Dunne would cover every blade of grass to make sure that no pockets of space opened up. We had the home side frustrated & this was evident as they conceded another penalty which Bracken again scored to give us a two goal cushion. Backs to the wall for the remaining ten minutes saw Dublin Airport push hard to get back into this game but Shot Stopped Chopper in-between the posts pulled off a fantastic double save to give us the victory & clean sheet. For the last number of months we've just not had that luck that we felt we've deserved but in this game it finally turned our way ? A massive amount of praise goes to our Players who continued to show up each week putting in the hard work not getting the results that they wanted but finally getting their just rewards here ? What a Squad of Players ? Thanks to Dublin Airport FC & we will see them next week in the return fixture at ours #thecastle⚫⚪⚽
