We raced into a two goal lead one penalty the other a dinking run by Striker Emmet Ward who slotted home under the advancing Goalkeeper but then somehow we found ourselves 3-2 down as we took our foot off the pedal just before the half time break. We grabbed an equaliser when Casey slotted home but the visitors regained the lead as we continued to push for a late goal, Ben Donnelly in the dying minutes hit the post with a header as it went off the post came out rather than in. This sums up our campaign this term, rotten luck every player gave it their all & put in some shift but again we just can't get the rub of the green. A fabulous game for those who turned up to watch in Ballymount Park, this game was played in the fight manor by both sides. No team really deserved to lose, we must now regroup & kick onwards to another big battle this Saturday against Dublin Airport FC.
