The senior XV travelled to Aberystwyth on Thursday the 12 of August to play a training match. The squad included 27 players, 12 of which were making the senior debuts. Although the most promising sight was seeing nine 18 year old Youth players make an appearance and looking more than comfortable at this level. The game was an extremely successful outing with the players showing that they will have competition for places throughout the upcoming season. Aberystwyth, who also fielded a lot of promising youngesters, eventually came out on top scoring 5 tries to Lampeter's 3.

Pre-season games against Division Two opposition can only help the squad before they KO in Division Three West on the 3rd of September at home to Llandeilo.
