WINNING RUN ENDED AT HOOK

WINNING RUN ENDED AT HOOK

Simon Jasinski24 Mar - 13:47

Two second-half penalties from League top scorer, Benji Colson ended Liss' five match winning run at Hook.

Seamus Evans (pictured) had given Mark Glazier's side the first half advantage, but they were pegged back in the second and fell to a late winner.

Hook complete a season double over Liss, who leapfrog the Blues into sixth in the Hampshire Premier League - albeit with our three points for Paulsgrove's inability to field a side still to be formally added.

Liss also have a number of games in hand on some of those side above them, with eight left to play.

HAMPSHIRE PREMIER LEAGUE - TABLE

The first team go about matching the reserves in aiming for a cup final appearance of their own, as Andover Town visit Newman Collard on Saturday (March 29) in the George Mason Memorial Shield semi-final (2pm).
