The Community Rugby team have had an amazing summer, running 5 weeks of children's holiday camps.

For the first 4 weeks of August, the team ran – Hounslow Borough council/Department of Education funded, Holiday - Activity – Food camps each day. Over 40 children attended. They took part in fun multi-sport sessions as well as Arts and Crafts activities. We supported 3 children attending with special education needs, as well as 4 children who are in foster care, all of whom had a fantastic time!

Our support staff included London Scottish Lions players – Jack Parkhurst and Harry Churchill, whose “day jobs” are schoolteachers

As part of this provision the children received a free, cooked nutritional lunch, supplied by the amazing food waste charity Surplus to Supply.

The final week of the school summer holidays the community team ran a 3-day, preseason mini and youth, rugby camp.

18 mini and youth team players attended, fine tuning their rugby skills, getting ready for the season ahead!
