We’re thrilled to announce that our Minis and Juniors will be forming the Guard of Honour and serving as mascots for the London Scottish vs Harlequins match this Saturday, 7th September, at The Stoop.
While our young players are no strangers to these roles at the RAG or King's House, this marks an exciting first for them at The Stoop! It’s an incredible opportunity for our Minis and Juniors to be part of such a fantastic occasion at one of the most iconic Premiership venues. Needless to say, our youngsters are absolutely buzzing with excitement!
The Minis and Juniors have always enjoyed a close relationship with the London Scottish senior teams, both the Championship XV and the Lions. On most home match days, you’ll find them acting as ball boys, participating in half-time games, discussing the rules of rugby or cheering from the sidelines. And, for the eagle-eyed amongst you, you may even have spotted our Junior mums supporting their sons in ball boy duties at the last Harlequins game at the RAG in February.
For many of our young players, the dream of one day playing at professional level is very much alive. So, if you spot them at a match, be sure to give them a cheer and some encouragement!
For any Minis or Juniors who missed this chance and would still like to get involved, please reach out to Sarah Mackernan via our contact page.
