A coaching strategy to develop FUNdamental skills, technical ability and tactical awareness for all our players.

"Enjoy, Develop, Succeed"

The LDJFC Coaching structure offers all our Managers, Coaches, Helpers and Parents the resources and support required to maximise the benefit to all our players.

The Teams are grouped by age and offered a Coaching Programme to help develop the individual's technical ability, in a fun and challenging learning environment, with equal opportunities to participate in a wide range of footballing activities.

LDJFC ACADEMY

The academy offers Under 5's and Under 6's children an introduction into football through fun games and activities concentrating on the FUNdamental skills (Agility, Balance and Coordination).

MINI - FUNdamental Development

Develop and encourage the Mini player's enjoyment of football through fun games. Players involved in the 5v5 and 7v7 game will develop the FUNdamental skills required for football in preparation for 9v9.

9v9 - Technical Development

Focus on developing the individual's technical ability, whilst encouraging a fun and enjoyable learning environment. This phase allows the players to explore the game and learn by doing.

11v11 - Tactical Development

Beginning to focus and develop the player's technical ability, whilst developing their individual techniques in preparation for graduation to Under 18's and Senior football.

LDJFC Goalkeeping

Offers the chance for all LDJFC Goalkeepers to have dedicated Goalkeeping coaching sessions, developing the FUNdamental, Technical and Tactical aspects of Goalkeeping.

LDJFC Coaching Workshops

In house events where LDJFC Coaches, Managers, Helpers and Parents come together to share ideas, discuss problems, and participate in practical demonstrations of themed coaching sessions.
