'Recognised as one of the UK’s leading concussion awareness and education resources, the RFU’s HEADCASE programme aims to increase understanding and provide information on concussion and other related topics, including how to prevent and manage suspected concussions'

What is concussion?
Concussion is a traumatic brain injury typically resulting from a blow to the head or body which results in forces being transmitted to the brain. The symptoms can present immediately and be short-lived or the onset of symptoms may be delayed and start to occur sometime after the initial injury. (England RFU)

Please download the attached document for more information and guidance of what to do if you suspect a player is suffering from concussion.

Please also review Lutterworth RFC club policy in which we follow the guidance to return to play provided by the RFU.

PLEASE remember: If a player is suspected of or suffering from concussion please ensure club (and for AGR players, School) has been made aware and relevant dates have been recorded.
The attached document provides guidance to coaches, player and parents.
