The 2008 season was initially planned to be a Merit League only team, but a late call asking us to join the South Yorkshire & Lincolnshire Regional league couldn't be turned down.

With massive number at training we were able to field 2 teams, with the 2nd being in the Merit League.

The 1st team went unbeaten in the league and play off, and also went through to the national final agaist Bristol Sonics where we won 36 - 18 beating teams such as Widnes St Maries (Defending Champions) 96 - 10 in the quarter finals and Bridlington Bulls 68 - 12 in the semi finals.

The Merit side also had great success only losing once in the league but reaching the final and also being crowned Champions.
