Formed in 2011/2012, Neston Nomads FC have a team competing in the West Cheshire Football League Division 3. Backed by President Frank Heseltine and Chairman Bruce Munnerley, the club aim to establish themselves in the North West's finest Senior Amateur Football League.
Manager Brian Tudor took over the reins half-way through 2011/2012 season while also adding Matthew Mowat to the coaching staff. He then guided the team to a 7 match unbeaten run after a very difficult first half of the season but finished in the bottom 2. In 2012/2013 Brian added quality to the squad and finished a very respectable 7th with some fantastic league results against the top teams. 2013/2014 was a challenging season and we finished 12th but in Brian's final season in charge, we finished 3rd and gained promotion on goal difference to Division 2 and we made progress by having an established reserve team.
Brian stepped down as manager and Andy Griffiths is now player manager for the 2015/2016 season in Division 2. Andy is very ambitious manager and is dedicated and enthusiastic about his first season in charge and finished a creditable 6th position and missed out on promotion by 6 points. During the 2016/2017 season, Andy guided the club to another 6th place position but got to the Final of the Cheshire Amateur Cup, losing 2-0 to Ashville and the Wirral Senior Cup Semi Final.
