2. Welfare and Safeguarding

At North Leigh Football Club, we are dedicated to safeguarding everyone in our club, but most importantly the players. We are committed to safeguarding children at all levels of the game. We want people to have a fun, enjoyable and positive experience; therefore safeguarding is vital to achieve this.

All of our coaches and club officials have been DBS checked, in addition to this, all of our coaches have completed the FA Safeguarding Award.

We highly recommend checking out the Oxfordshire FA Safeguarding web page, which is full of useful information and advice, whether you do or don't have a concern. This site could be found by clicking here.

For support within North Leigh Football Club - please contact the Welfare Officer:

Mrs. Rebecca Reynolds, Welfare Officer on 07816 891 100

Please also note that we have also setup a separate and specific North Leigh Football Club email inbox for all enquiries relating to safeguarding and welfare respectively.

This is as follows:

nlfcwelfare1908@gmail.com

Please also note, for support outside of our club - please contact the Safeguarding Officer for the Oxfordshire FA:

Mr. Nigel Saverton, Designated Safeguarding Officer OFA on 01993 894404, alternatively, you can email nigel.saverton@oxfordshirefa.com directly, or safeguarding@oxfordshirefa.com

We actively encourage and welcome any enquiries and/or comments regarding safeguarding and welfare, so please do not hesitate to get in contact with our designated Welfare Officer, or another Club Official.
