About North Leigh Football club (NLFC) and committee
NLFC is a volunteer, board of Directors led organisation. Key to its success is the ongoing work of its committee to ensure success both on and off the pitch in every aspect.

About this role
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to join the volunteer committee. Each year the Events Organisation team are set an income target and aim to achieve this by organising, implementing and operating events and private venue hire functions to provide financial support to the running of the football club. Being a Events Organiser is very flexible and provides the opportunity to help us out as little or as often as felt comfortable with.

Key tasks of a Fundraising Volunteer:
Typical roles can include one or many of the following:
• With support from your fellow volunteers, help to plan and deliver events and activities to raise funds
• Support fellow volunteers with events they are organising – this may vary by event; you could be greeting and registering participants at tournaments and special events, selling raffle tickets, running a stall, serving refreshments, etc
• Help with admin – processing payments and coordinating entries for upcoming events
• Publicise events and activities within the community
• Pro-actively seek new opportunities and ideas for future tournaments, private function hire, public and private events (on or off-site)
• Issue and monitor hire agreements for private and public functions
• Attend Fundraising Steering Group meetings
• Thank event attendees and donors
