Red Star were originally due to visit Hipperholme this Saturday but they now find themselves with a home game against Shelf Utd instead, last Sunday's flood notwithstanding.

Their replacement is Denholme Utd who should have been playing Greetland. Denholme are third from bottom with two wins and two draws from ten games, the victories being against the Rams and Sowerby Utd. They drew with league leaders Sowerby Bridge recently but are without a league win in six matches.

This is a six-pointer and if the Rams can build on the form of the last two games - the first half last week was very encouraging - there is a good chance of maximum points.

All of which could be purely academic as the appalling weather this week, plus the forecast of another storm this weekend, could well result in a blanket postponement of the scheduled fixtures.
