Both these games involve Illingworth St. Mary's and are against bottom club Sowerby Utd who have eight points and third bottom Denholme Utd who have eleven. Illingworth have ten points, are conceding a large number of goals (goal difference minus 60) and are without a win since the 4th January. These are their two remaining games and they may struggle to add to their points tally.

After playing Illingworth this week, Sowerby Utd have a tricky run-in with fixtures against Shelf FC, Greetland and Red Star. Denholme have six games left and all but one are against teams above them.

The Rams have eleven points plus a narrow goal difference over Sowerby and Denholme and the remaining games are Midgley Utd (twice) and Red Star. The first of these is at home to Midgley on Saturday and despite all the possible permutations the simple message is: Keep Picking Up The Points!
