Founded in 1892 (the same year as Liverpool), Tadcaster are one of oldest clubs in the Northern Counties East League.

The Brewers are on a high after disposing of Scarborough in the FA Cup and face a trip to Hailfax Town in the next round. They are currently sitting mid-table as the NCEL Premier Division is still taking shape and will prove a stern test for Parkgate on Saturday.

Doug Shelley will be determined to make it 5 league wins in a row however and the weekend's encounter will be an interesting one.
