One of the things we are keen to do through the course of this project is keep our key stakeholders - including all our members - informed.
We had a series of meetings over the last few weeks to bring key stakeholders up to speed on how the project is looking. This included our regional SRU team and sportscotland; stakeholders from the community, and local Ward Councillor Maxine Smith.
Our Club President and one of our Vice Presidents also attended BT Murrayfield for the Scotland vs Italy game and took the opportunity to update SRU President Dee Bradbury (who was one of the first to take a Virtual Reality tour of our initial design) and Sheila Begbie MBE who is Director of Domestic Rugby. We've also been sharing experiences with other clubs who are at various stages in their own development projects to try and share best practice across the clubs.
All in all a great deal of support for what we are trying to achieve, and our small band of volunteers are working incredibly hard behind the scenes to bring this to fruition.
As you will appreciate there is an awful lot going on and a lot of information to disseminate, and we are writing a newsletter for all our members which we'll distribute in the near future.
If you have any questions about our project please do get in touch.
