Winger Beech joined Skipton in 1996-1997 having already amassed over 250 first XV games for Northallerton. Over the next 11 seasons he would make 234 appearances for Skipton (a record 165 coming in the league), scoring 80 tries. Beech scored the try in the final seconds against Sheffield Oaks in 2000-2001 to clinch promotion.
