Kidz Enterprise

Packing up after a successful morning of rugby taster sessions at Kidz Enterprise summer holiday club.

Slough Olympica

Slough rugby club were part of the SLOUGH OLYMPICA: The Town's First Sports Carnival. We took part in not one but two demonstration slots on the pitch bringing a taste of rugby to approx 60 children in the first session and then approx 40 in the second session. All the children came away having enjoyed the taster session and some looking to come and give rugby a try in September! Thank you to all the coaches, seniors, volunteers and mini and juniors who helped out today.

Iver Olympicnic and Langley Carnival

Slough RFC had a busy time at Iver Olympicnic and Langley Carnival yesterday.

There was lots of interest in the club's youth, senior and walking rugby at both events and we hope to see some new players join us soon.

A big thank you to all our volunteers, in particular our juniors whose enthusiasm and demonstration of their rugby skills resulted in a lot of fun and interest from people!

Cippenham Carnival 2024

A very wet and windy day for our volunteers at Cippenham Carnival today! Well done to everyone involved.

Cippenham School Summer Fayre

Slough RFC had a productive time at Cippenham School Summer Fayre today.

It was an excellent opportunity to promote the club's youth teams and an enjoyable time was had with lots of boys and girls taking our throwing challenge and many parents asking for more information about the club.

A big thank you to the PTA for inviting us.

Our Lady of Peace School Summer Fayre

Slough RFC was pleased to have a presence at Our Lady of Peace school summer fayre yesterday.

Youth coaches Mary Blumbergs and Laurence Moore had an enjoyable day running an obstacle course and giving out leaflets to raise awareness of the club in the school community.

A big thank you to the PTA for inviting us and well done to Theo who had the fastest time of the day and so won a rugby ball after some very stiff competition!

Slough RFC Youth Section visit Slough Town FC!

A group of Slough RFC youth players attended Slough Town FC as match day mascots on Saturday! The players had a tour of the stadium, met the Slough Town team, had a training session and walked out as mascots before watching Slough Town beat Taunton Town 3-0.
The players also took part in a penalty shootout at half time and gave out Slough RFC leaflets and wristbands to families in the crowd to promote the club.
A big thank you to Andrew Leighton-Pope for organising.
