Our final friendly game of pre season saw Town head down the road to Warrington where we faced Eagle Sports , with the afternoon giving us a thunder storm and some rain it left the playing surface looking great. Both teams started well but it was Town who took the lead , great pressure down the right gave us two corners in quick succession the latter leading to a fine headed goal from Liam Keenan. Town continued to dominate and had the best chances to further extend their lead but some good saves and poor finishing we took only a one nil lead into half time. The second half was much of the same as both teams failed to capitalise on the chances created , changes were made and it was substitute Hal McHugh who controlled a great through ball by Neil Weaver and scored Towns second goal.
