Third time lucky as Sutton Athletic hosted Tooting Bec in the League Cup 3rd round. Previous attempts had been called off due to poor weather.

In an even 1st half the visitors took the lead on 40 minutes when Alvin Turyatemba fired in the opener.

The Sutts came out the traps in the second half looking to score an equaliser. However Tooting doubled their lead with a shot from Jordan Williams on 62 minutes

Three minutes later and Harry Lawrence started the comeback after Kola Salami’s mazy run created the space for the full back to score his 2nd of the season 1-2

On 67 minutes Conor Evans scored a goal of the season contender with a head,thigh and shot combination ended with a rifled volley from a tight angle. 2-2

Another Kola inspired attack found Theo White entering the box and scoring to make it 3-2.

In injury time the win was confirmed when Kola was brought down in the box and Theo White cooly dispatched the penalty
