Swadlincote Netball Club

Swadlincote Swifts was the first team created from Swadlincote Back to Netball training sessions which are held at Greenbank Leisure Centre in Swadlincote on Thursdays 6-7pm. Team members joined from mid 2013 and in spring/summer of 2014 we entered a Back to Netball tournament where we finished 3rd out of ten teams.

Our achievements so far are:
North West Leicestershire League 2014/15 Division 2: 2nd.
North West Leicestershire League 2015/16 Division 2: 2nd and promoted to Division 1.
South Derbyshire Nostalia Tournament 2015 Division 1: 2nd
Burton Summer League Division 3 (under the name Swadlincote Tornados) 2016: 1st.

We currently play in the North West Leicestershire League Division 1 and the Burton Winter League.
