Swans ended Bournemouth Sports unbeaten league record with a superb 2-1 win at Chapel Gate in The Dorset Premier League.

Swans produced a flying start after 3 minutes playing against the strong wind, Brassington delivered a superb cross that was dispatched at the second attempt following his first shot that struck the post by Ocean Smith. Both sides went close and were trying to master the difficult conditions, however it was the home side who equalised through James Bergin with a cool finish. Swans edged ahead after 21 minutes when Cody Moore produced a superb run from the halfway line and delivered a perfect cross for the in-form Albie Turner to finish with aplomb. Swans nearly increased their lead when Ocean Smith and Albie Turner just missed the target when well placed. Swans keeper Taylor Hibbs had to produce some good handling from crosses to prevent the determined home forwards. H.T. 1-2.

Swans who were now playing with the wind and controlled large parts of the second half with Brassington, Turner and Moore all going close to increasing the lead. Although the league leaders showed plenty of determination they failed to create many chances. Swans played with plenty of confidence and defended quite comfortably with anything Sports could produce.

Boss Craig Adams said post match "The boys were outstanding today against a very good side who were unbeaten in the league. Due to illness we could only take 13 players but their energy and discipline to do the job was special. Massive thanks to our supporters who travelled across Dorset and sang all day"!
