DU Rugby defeated Queen City Rugby by a score of 26-12 this past Saturday in a friendly. With DU Rugby preparing for the Cowboy Cup the focus was on providing the squad with some valuable game time and especially for the upcoming players who have not always made the 1st XV side. Queen City had a large pack and back line and made the Pioneers earn their tackles throughout the day.

The game was hotly contested and was a good physical outing for DU Rugby as they prepare for two games next week.

DU Rugby travels to Dallas, TX on Thursday and will prepare this week to meet University of Texas-Dallas on Saturday.
