Well, I thought with our first update we would provide a short update on some key areas.

Firstly - lets talk about our players. We have seen various people come across to Veor during the summer which has helped us strengthen our squad. The new players all bring different experience with them and as you will see from a separate report on our game against Liskeard, 7 of them featured during the game. Training has been positive and we have really benefited from our enhanced coaching team of Lee, Joe and Sam. We want to keep developing how we play and this will continue throughout the season.

This year we have gone out to local businesses and sought their help to support club - and we have had some fantastic responses. This, along with fund raising from the players, has enabled us to plan for our season, look at equipment to help us enhance our coaching and arrange an attractive kit package for the players. I will feature separate reports on our sponsors once they all finalised but some to mention now would be Property Care Builders, Vaporized, Red Jackets, Greenmount Carpets, Kit World and Mr Munch. We are arranging some pictures in the local press soon to help show our appreciation.

There is a lot we want to achieve this season on and off the field. We are celebrating our 50th year next year and we want to ensure we have put in some great foundations for the club for years to come. We have a fantastic committee who are really committed to developing the club. We are really looking forward to sharing those developments with you throughout the season!
