Back1. Intro
Walton le Wolds CC is a Leicestershire based team that has teams competing at various levels, playing cricket in league, cup and friendly formats. We play in the beautiful village of Walton on the Wolds, perfectly placed in the countryside but only 5 minutes away from Loughborough and 20 minutes from Leicester.
On a Saturday the club fields two senior teams, the 1st XI and 2nd XI compete in the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket League. In 2020 the 1st XI will be competing in the very competitive Division 5 East, our 2nd XI will be playing Division 8 East after promotion last season.
On a Sunday we field a Friendly XI whom play on some of the finest grounds in the county and play in an extremely friendly atmosphere.
Thursday evenings see our Midweek XI compete in the Loughborough evening league in a shortened 14 8 ball over format.
Home games are played at our picturesque home ground just outside Walton.
