2. Training Grounds

  • Training on Tuesday evenings at the same location as the pitches, training begins at 6.30pm, directions as per the ground. Flowerpot Playing Fields.
  • [*]Training on Thursday evenings (3rd November 2011 to 23rd February 2012 only) are held at West Exe Technology College, Hatherleigh Road, Exeter EX2 9JU at 8pm prompt, this is on an all weather training pitch, no studded boots allowed, trainers only.
  • [*]Directions to West Exe Technology College.
    • From Fore Street/ High Street, Exeter.
      From Witherspoons pub Le Cheverlier drive down Fore St, towards Exe Bridges.
    1. At the bottom of the hill turn left on the one way system, stay in the left hand lane to go over the bridge, and take the 1st exit from the bridge into Alphington Rd. Sign posted A3O Okehampton / A38 Plymouth.
    2. Continue along this road, passing under the railway bridge and past B&Q and ALDI.
    3. Continue through the 1st major junction with traffic lights, The Seven Stars pub on the right.
    4. Next set of traffic lights turn right into Cowick Lane, Sainsburys on the left, West ExeTechnology College on the right.
    5. Continue along Cowick Lane(West ExeTechnology College on the right) for around 500 yds, take the 1st turn right into Hatherleigh Rd.
    From Exeter University Main Campus.
    1. Depart Exeter University main campus Prince of Wales Road.
    2. Keep straight onto Streatham Drive.
    3. Turn left at the T-junction up the hill B3183 / New North Road.
    4. Turn right at the General Buller statue,onto Howell Road.
    5. Turn right at the mini roundabout into St Davids Hill, at the bottom of the hill turn immediately left at the mini roundabouts into Bonhay Road.
    6. Continue along this road passing St.Davids Railway Station on the right until you arrive at Exe Bridges.
    7. Take the left hand lane and continue along the river,stay in the left hand lane to go over the bridge.
    8. Take the 1st exit from the bridge into Alphington Rd. Sign posted A3O Okehampton / A38 Plymouth.
    9. Continue along this road, passing under the railway bridge and past B&Q and ALDI.

    1. From the High Street take the A Bus to West Exe Technology College.
    2. From Exeter University (St.Lukes) take the B Bus to Sainsburys Alphington.
