JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Commercial Manager
Location: Yaxley, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Initially a voluntary role
Hours of work: Part time role, flexible to suit your availability.

JOB PURPOSE
The commercial manager will drive commercial income for the club, through:

Advertising revenue generation; match day programme, pitch side hoardings, club website
Sponsorship revenue generation; team kits, match sponsorship and player sponsorship

MAIN DUTIES

[Maintain and develop relationships with key organisations to maximise commercial sponsorship and advertising revenue.
Develop and implement innovative community awareness/community involvement strategies to maximise gate income.
Engage with the Marcomms Officer to publicise games and events.
Liaise with other club officers to maximise expose & potential incom

Develop online sales channels for tickets and other club merchandise/services

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Desirable Experience

Experience of successful face-to-face, telephone or online sales
Knowledge of successful sales and marketing techniques
Knowledge of the local business community
Knowledge of football at youth/semi-professional level
Effective negotiating and influencing skills
Efficient presentation and communication skills
Adept in the use of MS Office
Well-presented and professional
