5. Greenock HSFP 2014/2015

Season 2014/15

Easily the best season for Greenock HSFP in some time as both the West of Scotland Cup and Cinema Cup were won.

Our 1st major Trophy was claimed in over 66 years when the West of Scotland Cup was claimed on 1st May 2015. Playing against an experienced Colville Park side we ran out 2-1 victors at New Douglas Park Hamilton thanks to an early Michael McColgan header and a wonder strike from Stephen Burden. One Month Later we claimed our 2nd bit of silverware when we ran out 3-0 winners against Postal Utd at Airdries Excelsior Stadium. 2 goals from Gary Loughran and a Mick McColgan strike saw the magnificent Cinema Cup make it's way back to Greenock.

Another successful season saw 5 of our players feature at National level with Jamie Bradley, Gordon Renfrew, Steven Greenlees, Mick McColgan and Ian Nixon all receive call ups.
