Welcome to Hampstead and Westminster Hockey Club. The club dates back to the 1870s and is now one of the largest clubs in the country. We play our home games on the water based pitch at Paddington Recreation Ground in Maida Vale, Central London and UCS sand turf in West Hampstead. The main pitch is a water-based FIH global standard pitch.

Our clubhouse is The Carlton Tavern, with shower and changing facilities are at Paddington Recreation Ground.

HWHC's Men's 1s were Champions of England in 2019 and finished second in the Premier Division National League in 2020. The Ladies 1s finished 3rd in their first season in the Premier Division National League in 2020. The Ladies 2s will move to the National League Conference East for the 2020/1 season.

HWHC can accommodate and coach players of all abilities and age groups. The Club has 12 men's teams, 7 ladies' teams and over 600 junior players from U6-U18.

Whatever level you are looking to play at, we will have a team for you. We pride ourselves on not only offering hockey for all abilities, but also in providing a friendly and sociable atmosphere.
