We have an exciting opportunity for a person, business or company to sponsor a brand new, state of the art, roll-out 2G Flicx junior cricket pitch.

Following devastating Boxing Day floods the club's facilities and resources have been stretched to their limits. Our main ground has been deemed unplayable this season forcing our 1st, 2nd and Junior fixtures to all be relocated to our 2nd ground at Tong Park. Our 3rd team will ground-share with a local club in Saltaire.

This has highlighted the need to improve our resources and with an estimated bill of £50,000 in the aftermath of the flooding we are looking for a sponsor to help us.

The Flicx 2G pitch is a roll out junior cricket wicket made of small plastic tiles that can be laid out on any part of our field and provides consistent and safe pace and bounce. This alleviates the need to cut a specific junior wicket, taking pressure of our square, whilst also allows play and practice in wetter conditions without damaging the grass. The pitch can also be used on artificial surfaces as well as indoors giving further future possibilities to train and play.

We currently have junior teams at under 11, 13 and 15 levels with an intention to start taster sessions at under 9 age group throughout the summer. The aim is to start further teams at under 9 and under 17 levels in the next 2 seasons.
All of these juniors will be able to play games against other clubs as well as train and practice on this new facility. Even senior practice sessions could be run on the pitch when not in use by the juniors. It should be in use at least 4/5 teams a week in the season and will be seen by players, parents and supporters.

The cost of the sponsorship would be £2500 which covers the purchase of the pitch and embellishment with the logo of your choice (1100mm x 700mm) directly on the surface of the pitch itself. We will also have an advertising board made with your choice of design to be displayed for the life of the board with no additional charges. You will be featured on our website with a description of your business and appropriate website links and featured on our popular social media sites.
