The Cricket pitch as the name suggests was originally a Cricket pitch for Blaenavon Cricket club. The pitch was used by the junior section over 10 years ago after the Cricket club had disbanded but there were a number of problems with the pitch and it was condemned. The council decided to redevelop the pitch as part of the re-location of the senior side and use the Cricket pitch for the junior section. The pitch was completed in the Autumn of 2009, but is yet to see a football match due to a number of teething problems with the playing surface.

The Cricket pitch is located opposite ITW Foils limited on the Kays & Kears Industrial Est, and can be accessed from the main Blaenavon to Brynmawr road
