The Coke Yard which is part of the Memorial ground was also used by the Blaenavon Harlequins as a rugby ground up until the late 1990’s. It was used by numerous junior rugby sides through out the years, as well as a training ground. Today the playing surface has been improved and it is currently used as one junior pitch, but plans are in place to change the orientation of the pitch and put a second junior pitch on the field, to help with the increased number of junior and youth sides that the club currently run.
