The aims and objectives of the club shall be to encourage and promote the game of Basketball generally and in particular in the Wrekenton area and including:

Ø To offer coaching and competitive opportunities in basketball.

Ø To promote the club within the local community and basketball.

Ø To be a feeder club and offer an opportunity for younger players from

the Cardinals Hornets a chance to play in the Tyne Met League

Ø To ensure a duty of care to all members of the club.

Ø To provide all its services in a way that is fair to everyone regardless of

race, colour, national, ethnic or social origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability and/or political/other personal beliefs

Ø To ensure all present and future members receive fair and equal

treatment.

Ø Develop a youth team in the future
