Plymstock Albion Oaks RFC Development Plan

Rugby is a popular sport both nationally and internationally and has a strong following in the south west. Plymouth has its own RFU Championship Team in Plymouth Albion. Plymstock Albion Oaks is a local Plymouth club with a large playing membership. The Club offers all ages and genders the opportunity to play rugby.

Participation in sport has been shown to develop personal skills and promote a healthy lifestyle for young people and adults alike.

The Club is very good at encouraging participation and recognising achievement. It also promotes inclusion through a successful pilot programme of rugby for disabled children and linking with the Positive Futures Initiative.

In order for PAORFC to provide adequate facilities for its playing membership and its supporters, the two main objectives are:-

• to develop and improve the clubhouse facilities
• to support and develop the membership

This will provide a framework for long term development and sustainability.
