3. Introduction

Introduction

The club formed in 2007, when Old Public Oaks R.F.C (OPOs) which was originally set up in 1927 and Plymstock Albion RFC merged and formed "Plymstock Albion Oaks". The OPOs had a successful senior setup, Plymstock at that time only ran junior sides so the merger meant a much stronger and more complete club was formed.

The Club maintains two club houses, neither of which meet the needs of the club's current teams. It is, however, able to generate sufficient income to support the expenditure of the club. The Committee has been working hard to create control systems for financial accountability and ensure it meets it legal obligations as well as supporting the playing membership and supporters within the current constraints.

The club now operates as a Private Limited Company No. 6998991 and has recently been award CACS status.
